Annual Fire Safety Calendar and Poster Contest.
The program is a yearly program that features the artwork of 3rd grade students from around the State. The program is an annual event that produces a calendar featuring the artwork of 3rd grade students from around the State. The program provides a focused learning experience when children prepare fire prevention posters for each month of the calendar.
In the 34 years of the program over 600,000 calendars distributed to students statewide. The distributed calendars are designed to send fire safety messages and fire safety reminders to homes across the State of Vermont We print hardcopies of the Calendar for distribution to the family’s and schools of the winning students we also be sending out a link to an electronic version of the Calendar to all schools in VT so they can print as they wish.
The calendar project is primarily funded by donations from sponsors and Vermont’s emergency service groups. If you would like to help sponsor the project and have your name, company or organization represented on the calendar please contact the division central office.
