Each year, the Vermont Fire Academy hosts National Fire Academy direct delivery courses in an effort to bring fresh, new courses to our responders without the long travel to the National Fire Academy. All classes will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day and are available at no cost. Strategies and Tactics for Initial Company Operations

This 2-day National Fire Academy course is designed to meet the needs of Company Officers responsible for managing the operations of one or more companies during structural firefighting operations. STICO is designed to develop the management skills needed by company officers to accomplish assigned tactics at structure fires.
